Gunarakulan Gunaretnam is an interdisciplinary tech entrepreneur who bridges engineering, AI research, and entrepreneurship to power Next-Gen Digital Innovations. He is the Founder & CEO of Mpowerr, a Next-Gen Enterprise with a bold vision of empowering Next-Gen Ecosystems through technology.
His passion for innovation began at the age of 8 when he was introduced to computers. He taught himself programming by 11, and at 16, he developed and launched his first digital product, marking the start of his journey as a tech entrepreneur.
In his professional journey, Gunarakulan has worked across AI, Generative AI, AI Agents, Deep Learning, Software Engineering, IoT, Embedded Systems, Robotics, and Digital Innovation. He applies his expertise in research, product development, and consulting to create impacts in both business and social sectors through technology.
He has worked on numerous commercial and non-commercial projects across AI and software while building and sharing over 150 open-source solutions. As an educator and mentor, he has also guided aspiring engineers and researchers, nurturing the next generation of innovators.
